The Opportunity...

We are looking to appoint an experienced 'hands on' professional with solid leadership qualities and operational experience to help keep our business running smoothly and join in driving our SA branch to the next phase. You will enjoy handling a variety of crucial administrative tasks, while taking ownership as you energetically coordinate and optimize daily activities, operational efficiencies and client sweeper services across SA, as well as collaborating with the Group's various teams.

The location of this permanent full-time position will be at our Salisbury Plain facility and will report to the Branch Manager SA.

What are the core responsibilities?

  • Provide the necessary support to our operations team to assist them to deliver service on the ground to the highest standard, particularly in the areas of scheduling, training, and inductions
  • Ensuring that Operators are trained in accordance with standard procedures and benchmarks
  • Identifying business development opportunities, cultivating relationships with new and existing customers
  • Preparation of customer quotations and proposals and management reports

  • Monitoring Work Health & Safety practises

  • Driving employee performance in the key areas of plant maintenance procedures and work practises

  • Provide support to and collaboration with leadership colleagues as required

Great What do I need to be successful in this role?

  • Be an experienced and professional supervisor with leadership qualities in an operational environment
  • Be 'hands on' with a demonstrated mechanical aptitude
  • Have a MR or HR truck Licence or be willing to obtain one
  • Have a Construction Industry White Card
  • Excellent presentation, confident 'interpersonality', high verbal and written  communication skills
  • Proficient computer skills including the Microsoft Office suite including Microsoft Outlook, Word & Excel
  • Possess a strong work ethic reinforced with a high level of initiative and a proactive solution-based approach
  • Strong time management skills, planning and task efficiency
  • Enjoy working in a team environment but also work with self-management skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail balanced by solid analytical skills
  • Pass a pre-employment medical assessment, drug and alcohol test.

It is advantageous if you also have a Certificate or Diploma in Business Administration or similar
