Business Manager

As the AO3 Business Manager at Kindon State School, you will play a vital role in providing financial and administrative support to the leadership team and teachers.

You will manage enrolment processes, student services, and school records while ensuring effective communication with stakeholders.

This role also involves reception duties, general administration tasks, and supporting the Principal in delivering high-quality corporate services.

This position is being offered in a Temporary Part-Time capacity (0.27FTE), 19.5 hours per fortnight.

About the Role

As the AO3 Business Manager, you will be responsible for the effective and efficient administrative management of the school. Reporting to the Principal, you will provide corporate services and administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of school activities.

Key responsibilities include:

• Providing financial and administrative support, including procurement and budgeting assistance for the leadership team and teachers.
• Managing enrolment processes and maintaining accurate school records, including incident reports and student first aid documentation.
• Supervising and managing school support staff, including recruitment, induction, and performance monitoring.
• Coordinating the management of school resources, assets, and facilities, including maintenance and minor works planning.
• Handling reception duties, correspondence, and general administration tasks while ensuring effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.

• Commitment to delivering high-quality administrative support aligned with school priorities.

Mandatory Requirement:

It is a mandatory condition of this role that you:

• Hold a current Working with Children Check clearance (Blue Card) issued by Blue Card Services. (In accordance with the Working with Children (Risk Management and Screening) Act 2000, a person is prohibited from working in regulated child-related employment unless the person holds a current Blue Card issued by Blue Card Services.)
