A little about the role…

As a Technical Producer/Project Manager at Creature Technology, you'll play a key role in delivering extraordinary, large-scale animatronic projects that bring imagination to life.

Working in engineering-led, manufacturing-based environments, our Producers manage the design, fabrication, and delivery of complex physical builds that combine artistry, mechanics, and technology.

Acting as the key connection between our creative vision and technical execution, you'll guide multidisciplinary teams, nurture strong client relationships, and ensure every project meets CTC's world-class standards for innovation, quality, and storytelling.

This role sits at the heart of what we do - balancing creativity with commercial and technical precision to produce creatures and experiences that inspire awe across the globe.

You could be the one if you…

  • Have 10+ years' experience leading complex, multidisciplinary projects in animatronics, automation, large-scale manufacturing, or mechanical engineering
  • Excel at project leadership, with proven success managing multimillion-dollar physical builds from concept to delivery
  • Thrive in hands-on production environments, collaborating closely with engineers, designers, and fabricators to bring creative concepts to life
  • Bring expertise in resource planning, budgeting, scheduling, and risk management, ensuring projects stay on track without compromising creative intent
  • Are a strong communicator who can lead multidisciplinary teams of designers, engineers, fabricators, and artists toward a shared vision
  • Have demonstrated experience in managing external suppliers and contractors, and understand the balance between technical excellence and practical delivery
  • Enjoy steering creative and technical collaboration - working with designers and engineers to solve complex challenges and turn ideas into tangible outcomes
  • Thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic and creative environment
  • Hold a tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline (such as project management, production, or engineering) or have equivalent hands-on experience in large-scale creative production.
