We are seeking an experienced and driven Venue Manager to lead the dynamic team at The Beach House @ SQ, located in the iconic Hillarys Boat Harbour.

This is a rare opportunity for a seasoned hospitality professional to take the reins of a high-profile venue in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

About the Venue

The Beach House SQ is a recently refurbished, modern coastal tavern with a strong reputation for delivering exceptional dining and entertainment experiences.

  • Capacity: Up to 500 guests
  • Multi-faceted operation: vibrant bar, full-service dining, late-night offerings, and a cool DELI-style takeaway concept
  • Exceptional bar: extensive back bar, rotating beer taps, and a thoughtfully curated wine list
  • High foot traffic location in a premium waterfront precinct

About You

We are looking for a confident and capable leader with a passion for delivering outstanding hospitality. The ideal candidate will have:

  • Proven venue or hospitality management experience in a high-volume environment
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • A hands-on approach to training, coaching, and team development
  • A focus on service excellence, compliance, and operational efficiency
  • Professional presentation and demeanor
  • A current Approved Manager's Card (essential)
  • Food Safety Supervisor Certification also required
