About Us:

Turquoise Café is an established and beloved café known for its vibrant atmosphere, exceptional coffee, and delicious breakfast platters. Due to internal progression, we are looking for a new venue manager to take control at our Hillarys location.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Venue Manager to lead our team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the seamless operations, exceptional customer experiences, and continued success of our brand.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the café, ensuring smooth functioning of all aspects including service, kitchen operations, and customer satisfaction.

- Lead, mentor, and motivate a diverse team to uphold high standards of service and product quality.

- Manage inventory, ordering, and stock control to optimise efficiency and minimise waste.

- Uphold and enforce health, safety, and hygiene standards according to regulatory requirements.

- Develop and implement strategies to maximize profitability and achieve financial targets.

- Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, collaboration, and growth opportunities for staff.

- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and the local community to enhance brand reputation and customer loyalty.

- Handle customer feedback and complaints effectively, ensuring prompt resolution and customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

- Proven experience in a similar managerial role within the hospitality industry.

- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.

- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.

- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings as required.
