About the role:

We are looking for a self-motivated & enthusiastic individual interested in a role with Purchasing Officer to join our results oriented close-knit team.

Your responsibilities:

· Raise purchase orders

· Be able to place & monitor purchase orders with suppliers

· Expedite orders to ensure on-time delivery

· Create shipments in ERP system

· Send enquiry to overseas suppliers for stock ranges & indent orders

· Liaise with freight forwarders on supply of shipping documentation

· Be prepared to assist in all other facets in the running of a busy purchasing function

Skills and Qualifications:

· Chinese Mandarin Language Skills are preferred

· Tertiary qualification in Purchasing, Business or a related discipline

· Minimum 1 year of purchasing experience, or international freight forwarding experience

· Intermediate to advanced Excel skills (V Lookups required)

· Pronto Experience or equivalent ERP systems experience

· High Level of Attention to detail and strong work ethics

· Good communication skills with an ability to efficiently and productively communicate both verbally and in writing
