The Opportunity

We're looking for a proactive and organised Purchasing Officer to join our Planning & Purchasing team at Resero. Based at our head office in Minto, you will manage and optimise the local supply chain for our Australian operations, ensuring uninterrupted production and timely delivery of our products. You'll work closely with suppliers and internal teams to maintain high standards, drive efficiencies, and support the business in achieving its operational goals.

About You

We're looking for someone who is highly organised, analytical, and enjoys managing multiple priorities. You're a problem-solver, a strong communicator, and someone who thrives on keeping operations running smoothly. You'll be confident negotiating with suppliers, optimising procurement processes, and supporting cross-functional teams.

  • We'd love to hear from you if you have:
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain operations.
  • Proven experience managing multiple suppliers, including sourcing, purchasing, and planning across departments.
  • Experience using ERP/MRP systems (Epicor highly advantageous).
  • Good excel skills and a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Strong organisational skills, ability to prioritise, and manage conflicting deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • A continuous improvement mindset and the ability to identify process efficiencies.

Role & Responsibility

In this role, you'll:

  • Manage the Australian supply chain for all local suppliers (except Polypropylene), including negotiating prices, assessing suppliers, and setting up contracts.
  • Monitor and track supplier performance for all inputs (except Polypropylene), report monthly, and resolve any issues.
  • Handle purchasing for daily operations and process requests from other departments to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement.
  • Keep pricing of purchased parts accurate and up to date, in line with supplier agreements and market trends.
  • Support supply chain needs for new product development under guidance from the Supply Chain Manager.
  • Source high-quality third-party products to meet sales and operational requirements.
  • Issue purchase orders according to MRP schedules and communicate order status with the Service Delivery team.
  • Communicate and escalate supplier quality issues to the relevant teams and help drive continuous improvement.
