This role supports the delivery of marketing, communication and design solutions, under the direction of Senior Client Advisors. It provides a unique opportunity for an aspiring professional to obtain experience in a wide range of industries, with a focus on education, and more broadly across retail, sustainability, health and professional services.

This important role in our team - reviews, collates, edits and produces a range of marketing and communication assets, ranging from executive presentations, brochures and booklets, to websites and videos. You will be expected to use critical thinking to design or develop a solution for an audience that achieves the intended outcomes. While you will have the support from Senior Designers, you will extend and apply design guidelines, using your own skills and talent.

This role is ideally suited to someone who has used Powerpoint extensively, Figma, Word and Canva with some experience in video editing. Your visual layout and writing skills need to be strong.

The experience and skills that you will acquire, will provide the foundation for your long term successful career, and will lead to further opportunities and promotions.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver marketing, communication and design solutions
  • Collate, review, edit and produce a range of marketing and communication assets ranging from executive presentations, brochures, booklets, websites and videos
  • Develop key messages, edit content and ensure it is highly consumable for the intended audience
  • Work within the team to help articulate the client's value proposition in a creative and conceptual way. Develop web copy and content as part of the solution.
  • Understand and capture business requirements.
  • Take brand guidelines and creative directions and use own skills to extend and apply these across marketing materials and digital assets
  • Create social media assets and content
  • Execute QA and usability testing as part of the website deployment process
  • Website updates including posting content, imagery and basic SEO/GEO tagging

Must Have Skills

  • University degree in Business/Commerce, Marketing, Communications or related field
  • Minimum of one year experience working full time in a professional environment, ideally within a creative agency or client-focused marketing environment
  • Highly proficient in Powerpoint, Word and visual layouts
  • Ability to use Figma and Canva
  • Social media or website maintenance experience
  • Working knowledge of website management tools (e.g. Wordpress)
  • Intermediate-level video editing skills to support the creation of multimedia marketing materials
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Ability to work with independent thought and problem solve
  • Ability to juggle multiple things and work with a range of stakeholders
  • Ability to take-on constructive feedback
