cape group (cape) is a not-for-profit company limited by guarantee providing services to people with a disability and is a Registered NDIS Provider.

Nadrasca joined with Brite in April 2025 to form cape group, a newly formed brand resulting from the merger of the two NDIS registered providers with a combined 120 years in operation across the eastern and northern suburbs.

Together, we provide a range of services for people with disability, including home and living supports, social and community participation activities, youth employment assistance, supported employment, and NDIS support coordination.

The Position

The Accounts Administrator plays a key role in supporting the financial operations of the organisation. This position is responsible for a range of administrative and financial tasks including data entry, invoice processing, reconciliations, and assisting with payroll and reporting. The role requires attention to detail, confidentiality, and a commitment to supporting the organisation's financial integrity.

Key Responsibilities:


• Process accounts payable and receivable transactions accurately and in a timely manner


• Maintain financial records and ensure documentation is complete and compliant with relevant regulatory, funding and organisational requirements


• Assist with bank reconciliations and petty cash management


• Prepare and distribute invoices and statements


• Respond to internal and external queries regarding accounts


• Assist with month-end reporting and financial audits


• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to organisational policies and procedures


• Provide general administrative support to the finance team


• Foster an environment of trust and teamwork that aligns with cape group's values


• Work collaboratively with organisation managers and peers towards achieving organizational effectiveness and operational efficiency


• Other duties as required from time to time

Qualifications and Experience


• Certificate IV in Accounting or similar


• Desirable experience working in the disability, community services or not-for-profit environment

Skills and Attributes


• Demonstrated experience in accounts administration or a similar role


• Understanding of basic accounting principles and financial processes


• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Business Central MYOB, Xero, or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite


• Strong organisational and time management skills


• High level of efficiency, accuracy and attention to detail


• Strong logical and systematic approach to work


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
