Wanneroo Glass is looking for a qualified glazier ready to step into a diverse, office-based role that puts trade experience to work in a new way. This position is ideal for someone with hands-on glazing experience who understands job timelines, materials, and workflows, and is looking to move off the tools into a more strategic role.

The role focuses on scheduling, quoting, and supporting project planning. You'll play a key part in ensuring jobs are accurately scoped, efficiently scheduled, and well-prepared—contributing directly to smoother operations and better outcomes, without the physical strain of daily site work.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Scheduling & Coordination:

    Use your trade knowledge to coordinate the estimating team's daily schedule, ensuring onsite quotes are booked efficiently by factoring in job complexity, travel time, and priority. You may also assist with scheduling installers as needed during busy periods.
  • In-House Estimating & Quoting:

    Provide ballpark figures and formal quotes using your understanding of installation timeframes, material needs, and job scope.
  • Operational Support:

    Assist the admin team with customer enquiries and the estimating and production teams with internal project planning and communication.
  • Occasional Site Supervision:

    From time to time, oversee installation jobs or act as a site supervisor when required—especially during peak periods or staff shortages.

What You Bring:

  • A trade qualification in glazing and a solid understanding of fabrication and installation processes.
  • Strong practical experience in residential and/or commercial glazing.
  • Great communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team.
  • Comfortable using job management systems or open to training.
  • Organised, reliable, and ready to help keep the operations side running smoothly.
