Position Overview

ANC is looking for a dynamic Delivery Experience Lead / Transport Supervisor / Fleet Controller to join our team at ANC at our client's site in Wacol, QLD. This role will focus on managing and optimising our fleet of Delivery Professionals (DPs), ensuring they are well-resourced, motivated, and performing at their best. As a Delivery Experience Lead, you will play a key role in executing the Delivery Professional value proposition, retention strategies, and training programs to support the success of our fleet and enhance the customer experience.

What you'll be doing

  • Delivery Professionals (Drivers) Onboarding & Retention: Manage the onboarding process, build strong relationships with DPs, and drive high retention rates.
  • Performance & Competency Management: Lead performance reviews, identify areas for improvement, and execute strategies to drive performance.
  • Safety & Compliance: Foster a culture of safety and ensure compliance with all safety policies and reporting requirements.
  • Collaboration: Work with internal teams to provide tools and resources to support DPs in achieving operational and client goals.
  • Data & Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies, optimise processes, and contribute to continuous improvement in fleet operations.

What are we looking for?

  • Relevant experience in an operational role, ideally in transport or delivery industry.
  • Proven ability to lead teams, drive performance, and build strong relationships.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills.
  • Flexibility to work weekends as part of a regular schedule or based on business needs
  • Experience in performance management, budget tracking, and process improvements.
  • Knowledge of safety and compliance requirements within the transport industry.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, freight management systems and other industry required technology.
