**What you'll do**:
Reporting to the QLD Operations Manager, the Fleet Supervisor will leverage their strong operational expertise, sharp attention to detail, and leadership capability to drive performance and service excellence.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Oversee a team of metro drivers to ensure daily operations of the fleet, including scheduling and allocation is timely and accurate
- Maintain excellent working relationships with all stakeholders, customers, and drivers
- Communicate effectively with drivers and customers around planning, runs, and delays
- Conduct proactive assessments of operations with the aim of enhancing efficiency
- Manage and monitor payroll, driver’s performance, leave entitlements, and truck servicing
- Load planning & optimization via solid analytical skills with the ability to systemically plan resources
- Recognize opportunities to improve current processes and revenue margins through P&L accountability
- Proactively managing sub-contractors and associated costs

**What You Will Bring**:

- Prior experience in a Fleet Controller/Supervisor role within the Transport & Logistics industry
- Sound knowledge and understanding of OH&S, CoR & NHVR legislation
- SAP, MT DATA, WMS & TMS knowledge is desirable
- Demonstrated experience working in a fast-paced and challenging environment
- A continuous improvement mindset with good change management experience
- Ability to build strong relationships internal and externally
