The Opportunity

We're looking for a passionate Commercial A&D Representative to join our sales team. As a key player in driving revenue growth and market expansion in the commercial sector, you'll play a pivotal role in building strong client relationships that reflect the premium nature of our products and brand. This is more than a sales role—you'll be supporting commercial clients with product expertise and selection guidance, managing client relationships through our CRM system, and working closely with internal teams to ensure every client interaction exceeds expectations.

What You'll Be Doing

Sales & Client Relationship Building

  • Achieve and exceed sales KPIs set by the Commercial A&D Lead
  • Engage with clients through inbound and outbound calls, emails, and in-person interactions
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships to drive repeat business and referrals
  • Understand client needs and provide expert recommendations on our stone products
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities for market expansion
  • Act as a trusted advisor, offering expert guidance on product selection and applications

Sales Support & Transaction Management

  • Assist with preparing quotations, orders, and product documentation
  • Process transactions including payments, receipts, credits/refunds, and collections
  • Facilitate smooth transactions from inquiry to delivery, ensuring accurate and timely processing
  • Maintain accurate records of all client interactions in our CRM database
  • Conduct follow-ups to ensure customer satisfaction and resolve any issues promptly

Product Knowledge & Administration

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product range, stock, industry trends, and product innovations
  • Utilise CRM data to identify sales opportunities and track customer interactions
  • Generate reports from the CRM database to track sales performance and engagement
  • Manage administrative tasks including data entry, documentation, and reporting
  • Keep client records organized and current

Events & Industry Engagement

  • Host A&D events both onsite and offsite to strengthen client relationships
  • Attend A&D industry events to stay informed and build market presence
  • Stay informed about industry trends to maintain a competitive edge and drive innovation

Collaboration

  • Collaborate with internal teams to meet and exceed customer needs
  • Support showroom teams to ensure alignment with commercial sales strategies
  • Communicate effectively with internal teams on customer interactions and sales activities

What We're Looking For

Essential

  • Previous experience in sales or customer service with a proven track record of meeting targets
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong organisational abilities with exceptional attention to detail
  • Problem-solving mindset with the ability to think creatively
  • Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office applications (SAP experience advantageous)
  • Ability to develop and nurture professional relationships
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills, with a focus on achieving win-win outcomes

Highly Desirable

  • Knowledge of or genuine interest in the stone and building materials industry
  • Understanding of different stone types, their characteristics, and applications
  • Experience in the architecture, design, or construction sector
  • Industry knowledge in premium building materials
