Description

We currently have an opportunity for a Project Support Officer. Join our Downer Professional Services team and play a key role in delivering complex defence and national security projects that safeguard Australia's future. 

What You'll Do

This role offers a broad scope, with key responsibilities including:

  • Provide administrative and secretariat support to project teams.
  • Support the Project Manager in planning, tracking, and reporting on project work packages.
  • Coordinate task sequences, document preparation, and data entry.
  • Contribute to risk and issue registers and monitor action items.
  • Assist with standard operating procedures and internal project communications.

What You'll Bring

  • Previous experience in a project support or project coordination role.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a complex environment.
  • Demonstrated experience working within Defence, government, or professional services.
  • A minimum NV1 security clearance (or the ability to obtain and maintain one).
