Patient Services Assistant

About the Role
As a Patient Care Assistant, you will play an important role in supporting patients and assisting teams across the wards, theatres, and wider hospital. This hands-on role helps ensure comfort, safety, and a smooth patient experience.
We currently have multiple casual and part-time opportunities available.
Contributing to providing a safe environment for patients, staff and Visiting Medical Practitioners, your role will involve, but is not limited to;
- Transport of patients from and to various locations throughout hospital.
- Assist with patient manual handling with the use of aides.
- Assist with response to emergencies.
- Assist with pre-operative patient shaves.
- Cleans areas and equipment as required within the hospital.
- Carries out other duties as directed by the Patient Transport Manager and after-hours hospital co-ordinator.

Essential Requirements
- Must provide aNational Police Check conducted within the previous 12 months
- According to the role, Ramsay may require a Working-With-Children check and proof of immunisation against infectious diseases.
