About Us

We're one of WA's leading concrete and formwork contractors, known for delivering quality projects and reliable performance. As we grow, we're looking for a multi-skilled individual who can handle both financial and administrative operations to keep our projects running smoothly, on a 30-40 hours a week basis.

What You'll Do

Bookkeeping

  • Handle full-cycle bookkeeping, including accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), payroll, BAS/IAS, superannuation, and bank/credit card reconciliations.
  • Allocate and track costs by project (materials, labour, subcontractors), monitor budgets, progress billing, change orders, and retainage to keep projects profitable and on track.
  • Assist with budgeting, cash flow forecasting, and progress billing.
  • Prepare project-specific financial reports (profit & loss, job costing summaries) to support informed decision-making.

Administrative & Operational Support

  • Provide general office administration: manage emails, phone inquiries, scheduling, filing, and document control.
  • Support project documentation, such as contracts, compliance files, safety documentation and subcontractor insurances/licenses.
  • Liaise with project managers, suppliers, subcontractors, and external accountants to keep communication and workflows smooth.
  • Assist with general operations—fleet and asset registers, office supplies, and ad hoc tasks.

Who You Are / Qualifications

  • Experience: 2–5+ years in bookkeeping/admin roles within construction, trades, or a similar industry.
  • Accounting Software: Experience in Cheops is highly desirable.
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of construction industry specifics like job costing, progress billing, retainage, and compliance processes.
  • Technical Skills: Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel, strong organizational skills, multitasking ability, and attention to detail.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication. Able to coordinate with stakeholders across teams and tiers.
  • Qualifications: Certificate IV (or higher) in Accounting or Bookkeeping preferred.
