$70,000 – $105,000 per year + Commission

We're looking for a Superstar Senior Public Practice Tax Accountant or a Senior Bookkeeper. The role is Perth based, so only apply if you are based in Perth and willing to work onsite and in the office.

This isn't a normal role. We aren't looking for someone to just sit behind the desk all day or come to work just for the sake of getting a paycheck. We want you to take responsibility and soar high. If you are passionate about growing, you should definitely apply.

What you'll be doing
  • Manage all bookkeeping functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, payroll, and reporting.
  • End of the Month Reporting for Bookkeeping Clients.
  • Preparation of Special Purpose Financial Statements for Sole Traders, Partnerships, Trusts and Companies.
  • Preparation of Income Tax Returns for Individuals, Partnerships, Trusts & Companies.
  • Preparation of BAS/IAS for clients.
  • End to End Payroll Processing for clients.
  • Provide strategic financial advice to clients to help them achieve their business goals.
  • Liaise with clients, external auditors, and other stakeholders to ensure the smooth running of their accounts.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in tax legislation and accounting standards.
  • Supervise and mentor junior members of the accounting team.
  • Creating training material, guides, templates, etc. for our internal team & clients.
  • Marketing. Networking Meetings. Creating Business Referral Relationships.
  • Creating some content for social media, Business Strategies & assisting with Admin Tasks.
What we're looking for
  • Tertiary qualification in Accounting or a related field.
  • Experience preparing financial statements and management reports.
  • CPA or CA qualification highly desirable.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a senior bookkeeping or tax accounting role.
  • Proficient in the use of accounting software such as Xero, MYOB, or QuickBooks.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and client service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Be trustworthy, honest and looking to stick around for long-term.
