About the role

WMP Tax Accountants' are seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to join our team on a part-time (or Full Time) basis in our Burswood, WA office. This is a flexible role that will provide you the opportunity to put your bookkeeping skills to use in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Your Day-to-Day Will Include
  • Managing Xero files for a range of small business clients
  • Bank reconciliations, accounts payable/receivable, and payroll
  • BAS and IAS preparation
  • Liaising with clients and our internal accountants
  • Supporting the team with ad-hoc bookkeeping and admin tasks

What we're looking for

  • Proven experience as a Bookkeeper, preferably in a small practice or professional services environment
  • Strong working knowledge of bookkeeping principles, practices, and software (e.g. Xero)
  • Excellent attention to detail and numerical accuracy
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and deadlines
