Our Opportunity
We're looking for a People & Culture professional to join our team
The ideal candidate will oversee the full scope of People & Culture responsibilities while partnering with the business on strategic initiatives. You'll play a key role in developing people strategies that align with our business goals, foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture, and ensure compliance with relevant legislation and policies all with a strong focus on enhancing the employee experience.
What you'll be doing:
- Share data-driven insights on talent trends, risks, and opportunities to help shape our workforce.
- Champion change management initiatives, from clear communications to engaging our people and aligning our leaders.
- Lead, mentor, and inspire our People & Culture team helping them grow, succeed, and deliver excellence.
- Provide guidance, coaching, and professional development to create streamlined processes and a consistently positive employee experience.
- Identify and drive continuous improvement initiatives that boost efficiency, strengthen compliance, and enhance the way our people experience work.
- Ensure we meet and exceed our obligations under industrial instruments, employment legislation, and best-practice ER standards.
- Develop and roll out programs that make our employee experience something we can all be proud of.
- Shape welcoming and engaging onboarding journeys for every new team member, ensuring they feel at home from day one.
Qualifications
- Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Business or a related field.
- 7+ years' experience across HR and ER, with a strong background in organisational development, learning & development, and talent growth.
- A proven track record in designing, developing, and delivering people-focused strategies and programs that make a real difference.
- Confident facilitation and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and influence senior leaders.
- Experience leading and inspiring a team to achieve great results.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to turn data into actionable insights.
- Recruitment expertise, with a history of improving talent acquisition strategies and outcomes.
- Experience training and coaching managers and employees to build capability.
- Exceptional organisational skills, clear communication, and critical thinking.
