The opportunity

X-Golf Shire is seeking an experienced and driven Assistant Manager to join our dynamic hospitality team. As the Assistant Manager, you will play a crucial role in the day-to-day operations of our premier golf and entertainment venue located in Caringbah, NSW.

Key responsibilities

  • Assist the Operations Manager in leading and managing the hospitality team, ensuring exceptional customer service and operational efficiency

  • Oversee all front-of-house activities, including greeting guests, managing reservations, and coordinating the food and beverage service

  • Develop and implement strategies to drive sales, increase customer loyalty, and enhance the overall guest experience

  • Manage staff schedules, training, and performance to maintain a high-performing and engaged team

  • Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and licensing regulations

  • Assist with financial management, including budgeting, cost control, and reporting

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute promotional activities

  • Serve as the Operations Managers' deputy in their absence, providing leadership and decision-making support

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 1 years of experience in a similar assistant manager or supervisory role within the hospitality industry

  • Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team

  • Excellent customer service orientation, with a focus on delivering exceptional experiences

  • Proficient in financial management, with the ability to analyse and interpret data to drive business decisions

  • Thorough understanding of hospitality operations, including food and beverage service, inventory management, and compliance requirements

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with customers, staff, and stakeholders

  • Adaptability and problem-solving skills to navigate the dynamic nature of the hospitality industry
