About the role

We are now seeking a driven and strategic Business Development Manager to join our team in the Perth metro area.

You will report to the CEO and Operations Manager and will work closely with the sales and marketing team.

You will be expected to travel within the Perth area and are responsible for identifying and building new business and increasing sales.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities across the food service industry in the Perth metro area.

  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with new and existing clients by frequent customer visits and communications.

  • Provide continue growth within your assigned territory through new business and increased sales with current customers.

  • Develop and execute plans to meet sales targets and business growth objectives.

  • Conduct market research to stay on top of industry trends, customer needs, new products and competitor activity.

  • Promote EVOO's product range and communicate its value proposition effectively to prospective clients.

  • Attend industry events and networking opportunities to expand market presence.

  • Collaborate with internal teams (warehouse & customer service) to ensure customer satisfaction and efficient service delivery.

  • Administration duties including completing sales reports and quotes.

Requirements:

  • 2 years of experience in B2B sales or business development, preferably in the food service or food distribution sector.

  • A deep understanding of the hospitality and food service industry.

  • Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets and develop lasting client relationships.

  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently and collaboratively.

  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the assigned region.
