Symons Clark Logistics is a 150-year-old, family owned, Port Adelaide based transport and logistics company. Our experience brings with it premium wharf cartage and container transport services, with a focus on providing customers with complete logistics solutions including warehousing, container pack/unpack, distribution, over-dimensional, heavy haulage, project logistics and Australia wide bulk haulage.
Due to continued growth, Symons Clark Logistics is looking for a passionate Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our People & Culture team in a full-time permanent role.
The Talent Acquisition Specialist is directly responsible for managing the end-to-end recruitment process at Symons Clark Logistics, ensuring a high-quality candidate experience for both internal and external applicants. This role plays a key part in identifying and attracting top talent across the business, while also supporting employees and leaders with timely recruitment advice and solutions. The Talent Acquisition Specialist works closely with hiring managers and the broader People & Culture team to build strong relationships and deliver consistent, professional support across all stages of the hiring lifecycle.
This opportunity is ideal for someone with agency recruitment experience who's ready to make the move internal. You'll partner directly with leaders, manage end-to-end recruitment across the business, and play a key role in shaping a positive candidate and hiring manager experience.
What you will be doing…
- Partnering with hiring managers to define recruitment needs and role requirements.
- Proactively sourcing candidates through digital platforms, industry networks, and talent pools.
- Leading the full recruitment cycle including advertising, screening, interviewing, selection, and offer management.
- Reviewing and managing candidate pipelines through Employment Hero.
- Supporting position description development.
- Developing and maintaining strategic talent pools and talent pipeline initiatives.
- Delivering an exceptional candidate and hiring manager experience throughout the recruitment process.
- Responding to employee queries and providing recruitment support across the business.
Do you have…
- Previous experience in agency or internal recruitment, with strong end-to-end capability.
- Strong end-to-end recruitment capability across a range of role types and business functions.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
- A solutions-focused mindset with a drive to continuously improve recruitment processes.
- Experience working with HRIS/recruitment platforms (e.g. Employment Hero).
- Confidence using the Microsoft Office Suite and online sourcing tools.
- A collaborative, professional approach and the ability to build trust with stakeholders at all levels.
- A commitment to delivering a high-quality candidate experience.

- Successful applicants will be required to complete a Pre-Employment Medical, Drug and Alcohol Screening, and Police Check.
