Security Installation Apprentice - Securecorp Electronics Team

Position Overview:

Securecorp is seeking a motivated Apprentice Electronic Security Installation Technicians to join our retail installations team on a full-time basis.

As an Apprentice Electronic Security Installation Technician, you will learn how to deploy and maintain electronic security systems. You will be responsible for assisting with installing, configuring and troubleshooting various electronic security equipment, including alarm systems, access control systems, surveillance cameras and other related technologies.

Upon completion of this apprenticeship, you will obtain a Certificate III Security Equipment (UEE31420).

Key Responsibilities:

· Install, configure and test electronic security systems, including Access Control, Electronic Alarm and CCTV systems to provided client approved plans and specifications.

· Perform installation, commissioning, repair, modification or updating of hardware or software configurations as required.

· Collaborate with your supervising Technicians and Project Managers assigned to each job and complete tasks as directed.

· Adhere to all safety and compliance regulations during installation and service tasks.

· Document all installations, services and maintenance activities accurately.

· Be available for regular night shift works (usually Monday to Thursday nights only – enjoy regular long weekends) and be available to travel throughout Queensland and Northern New South Wales.

· Be committed to attending TAFE during block release periods.

Qualifications / Eligibility:

· Have, or be able to obtain, a Class 2 QLD Security Advisors and Installation License.

· Must have full-time, permanent work rights in Australia.

· Valid driver's license and the ability to travel to various client sites.

· General Construction Industry White Card.

· Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
