Job Summary: This internship provides an opportunity for undergraduates and post-graduates to gain practical work experience aligned with their area of study while completing their degree or following their recent graduation. Interns will contribute to real-world projects and develop professional skills in a supportive team environment. 

12- Week Summer Experience

December- February

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist in generating service/installation performance reporting
  • Document processes, procedures, and standards with input from subject matter experts
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
  • Participate in stakeholder communications and feedback collection
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve objectives
  • Contribute to Cubic's organisational objectives by supporting a variety of projects.
  • Complete assigned tasks under the guidance of a supervisor, ensuring timely delivery.
  • Attend team meetings and contribute where appropriate.
  • Build positive working relationships with team members by sharing information, knowledge, and skills.
  • Actively participate in learning and development opportunities.
  • Identify areas for technical and personal growth in consultation with a supervisor, and address skill gaps through on-the-job training.
  • Assist team members in achieving team goals and deliverables.

General Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Comply with Cubic's Quality Management System
  • Comply with Cubic Occupational Health, Safety and Environment policies and procedures
  • Comply with security in accordance with established policies and procedures of the organisations
  • Comply with Cubic Human Resources Procedures
  • Other duties as requested

Minimum Job Requirements:

Qualifications

  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline – either a recent graduate or in the process of completing studies for a trade qualification, Advanced Certificate, Diploma or Bachelor's degree

Skills/Experience/Knowledge

  • Interest in pursuing a career in service or installation, with a focus on innovative systems and devices for the Transportation industry
  • Competent in the use of Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Familiarity with online collaboration tools (e.g., Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive)
