CBS Building Group Pty Ltd is a well-established North Queensland construction and civil subcontracting company with over 60 years of continuous operation. Family-owned and operated, we pride ourselves on delivering quality customer service, reliable product delivery, and building long-term relationships with our clients.
We are currently seeking a Receptionist / Administration Officer to join our busy and supportive office team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual with strong administration skills who is looking to grow within the building and construction industry.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily reception duties and incoming calls
- Assist with billing, invoicing, and counter/phone sales
- Raise and issue purchase orders & receipt stock / Stock control
- Coordinate uniforms, inductions, training, and freight bookings
- Support job preparation (quotes, work orders, SWMS/JSA, manuals, warranty forms)
- Maintain customer profiles and supplier records
- Upload invoices/statements, reconcile petty cash & manage SimPRO files
- Order materials, stationery, and staff amenities
- Provide general administrative support to the office team
- Arranging of Flights and accommodation for staff travel and Jobs out of town
Skills & Experience
- High level of customer service and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and organisational ability
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Knowledge of SimPRO job management software (advantageous)
- Knowledge of Xero accounting software (advantageous)
- Familiarity with Apple Mac/iPad devices (advantageous)
