Your Next Role

As a Machine Operator / Maintainer, you will be hands-on in running and maintaining our industrial Refiner — keeping production efficient, safe, and on schedule. You will monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, carry out routine maintenance, and uphold the highest quality and safety standards. Working in a fast-paced FMCG environment, you will play a key role in maximising uptime, reducing downtime, and driving continuous improvement across our operations.

  • Operate and monitor the industrial Refiner, including start-up, shut-down, and control adjustments.
  • Perform routine inspections, basic maintenance, and safety checks to keep equipment running smoothly.
  • Respond to alarms and troubleshoot issues to minimise downtime.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area in line with GMP standards.
  • Accurately complete production logs, quality checks, and downtime records.
  • Conduct pre-start inspections and ensure the line is ready for operation.
  • Operate additional equipment such as Telehandler, Wheel Loader, and Forklift as required.
  • Work collaboratively with maintenance and operations teams to resolve faults and drive process improvements.
  • Follow all safety, health, and environmental procedures.

About you

  • Previous experience as a Machine Operator in FMCG or manufacturing (Refiner or similar equipment experience a plus).
  • Current Forklift Licence and experience with Telehandlers or Wheel Loaders, or willingness to obtain certification.
  • Solid understanding of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
  • Practical mechanical aptitude or basic maintenance experience highly valued.
