About the Role

Cosmetech is looking for a skilled Machine Mechanic / Operator / Distribution Centre Assistant to maintain, operate and optimise tubing, labelling, boxing, and tagging machines in our modern manufacturing facility. Combine your technical know-how with warehouse and dispatch support in a full-time position that offers variety, stability, and great team culture.

This is a diverse, hands-on role that combines:

  • Machine operation across manufacturing, production, and packaging lines
  • Light mechanical maintenance and troubleshooting
  • Distribution centre support — packaging, labelling, boxing, tagging, and dispatch

You'll work across a range of equipment, including:

  • Tubing and filling machines
  • Labelling machines (semi-auto)
  • Boxing and packaging lines
  • Security tagging systems

No two days are the same — you'll help keep production running smoothly while supporting warehouse operations.


Key Responsibilities

  • Operate, set up, and maintain manufacturing, production, and packaging machinery
  • Perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs
  • Monitor production quality and complete basic checks
  • Assist with packaging, boxing, and tagging of finished goods
  • Support stock movement, palletising, and dispatch prep
  • Maintain safety, hygiene, and quality standards
  • Work closely with team members to meet production targets

About You

You're practical, reliable, and thrive in a busy environment. You enjoy variety, problem-solving, and being part of a supportive team.

You'll bring:

  • Experience in a manufacturing or production setting
  • Mechanical aptitude — confident using tools and fixing minor issues
  • A focus on quality, safety, and teamwork
  • Good communication and reliability
  • Physical fitness for manual tasks

Bonus points for:

  • Forklift licence (or willingness to obtain one)
  • Experience in cosmetic, pharmaceutical, or FMCG manufacturing
