The Role
As a PPC Media Specialist, you will own and manage your own portfolio of clients across a range of industries. While Google Ads will remain the priority, experience with Meta Ads is a strong bonus and will allow you to support cross-channel opportunities where relevant.
You will take full responsibility for the performance of your portfolio, driving strong results independently and proactively identifying opportunities for growth and optimisation. You will be the most senior specialist within the team (reporting to the Head of Digital), operating with a high level of autonomy, initiative and accountability. This is a role for someone who thrives on ownership, can self-manage their priorities, actively brings ideas and improvements to the table, and is consistently proactive. This is non-negotiable.
By staying at the forefront of industry trends and leveraging data-driven insights, you will collaborate closely with internal teams to deliver exceptional results. You will also be highly experienced with Google Shopping and working with e-commerce brands, while bringing working knowledge of Meta Ads to complement the paid media mix.
Duties & Responsibilities
PPC Media Strategy Development:
- Develop comprehensive PPC media strategies aligned with client objectives and target audience, across Google and Meta platforms.
- Collaborate with the sales team to provide paid media strategy and forecasts for prospects.
- Collaborate with clients and internal teams to define campaign goals, messaging and content strategies.
Google Ads Activity Management:
- Manage and execute Google campaigns, including paid search, Pmax, Shopping and YouTube.
- Strategise, execute and optimise Google Ads activities for Tier 1 clients.
- Set up and manage new client accounts during their first 90 days.
Campaign Analysis and Optimisation:
- Conduct comprehensive market and competitor analysis to inform campaign strategies.
- Perform in-depth keyword and audience research to guide campaign optimisation and targeting.
- Conduct top-level analysis of campaign performance and website metrics.
- Utilise insights from analysis to develop strategic plans and reports for enhancing campaign performance.
- Proactively seek new opportunities to improve client results across Google and Meta.
- Generate reports to communicate performance results and recommendations to clients.
Client & Portfolio Ownership:
- Take full ownership of the performance and optimisation of your client portfolio, driving strong results and identifying growth opportunities.
- Build trusted relationships through proactive communication, strategic recommendations and consistent delivery of high-quality results.
- Operate as a senior member of the team, expected to manage campaigns independently and with a high level of accountability.
Learning and Development:
- Ensure you comply with industry standards and best practices across both Google and Meta, regularly updating and embedding these principles into your campaign strategy and operational processes.
Skills
- Proven experience as a PPC Specialist with 4+ years of hands-on experience in Google Ads.
- Demonstrated experience in Meta Ads campaigns, even if not the sole focus.
- Demonstrated success in managing a portfolio of over 15 campaigns.
- Experience with running campaigns for e-commerce brands.
- Proficiency with analytics tools such as Google Analytics / Looker Studio.
- Strong initiative, self-starter attitude, and the ability to operate autonomously with full ownership of campaign performance.
- Excellent data analysis skills with a focus on making data-driven decisions.
- Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Relevant certifications (Google Ads certification required; Meta Blueprint certification is a plus).
- Prior experience working in an agency setting is advantageous.
