The Role
Be forewarned, this role is for high-achievers and strategic thinkers.
As the Automotive Account Manager, you'll directly represent 3PM to the world. Working with clients in the automotive space, you won't just lead their digital marketing journeys; you'll transform them.
Your role will be a one-stop shop for clients, where you will strategise, coordinate, and deliver projects to successful outcomes, covering everything from planning and execution to results. Clients will rely on you as their trusted marketing advisor, guiding their businesses toward success.
Being our Automotive Account Manager isn't just a job – it's a catalyst for transformation, ensuring every client interaction builds lasting relationships and impactful results.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Client Relationship Management:
Be the primary contact for your clients. Build strong, trusting relationships by understanding their goals, responding proactively, and delivering a consistently high standard of service. - Project Ownership:
Manage campaigns and projects from briefing to delivery. Set timelines, coordinate with internal teams, and ensure deadlines, budgets, and scope are met. - Communication & Expectation Setting:
Keep clients informed with regular updates. Flag risks early, manage feedback constructively, and always align on what success looks like. - Internal Collaboration:
Work closely with creative, web, and paid media teams to turn client goals into clear briefs, timelines, and deliverables. - Performance & Insights:
Monitor performance using internal reports and platform data. Identify wins and opportunities, and share these with clients in a way that builds confidence and trust. - Client Development & Growth:
Help clients grow. Use data and insights to recommend new initiatives and position additional services where they're a fit. - Pitching & Proposals:
Assist with crafting compelling proposals and presenting ideas that meet client needs, whether for a new retainer, upsell, or one-off project. - CRM & Process Adherence:
Maintain accurate client records, meeting notes, and task updates using agency systems like HubSpot, ClickUp or PageProof.
Skills & Experience:
- Client-facing experience
in a digital marketing agency environment - Strong communication skills
– written, verbal and presentation – with the ability to build trust quickly - Project management capability
, with proven experience juggling multiple deadlines, stakeholders, and priorities - Comfortable interpreting data
– not necessarily a data analyst, but someone who can read performance reports and translate them into clear client insights - Commercial acumen
– understands how to protect margin, spot opportunities to upsell, and support business growth - Solid understanding of digital channels
– including websites, Meta and Google ads, SEO, content, and email marketing - Familiarity with tools like HubSpot, ClickUp, Google Ads, Meta Business Manager, GA4, and PageProof
(or willingness to learn quickly) - Problem-solving mindset
