Lady and the Fox catering and events  has earned a reputation as one of Geelong's premier caterers. Since 2008, we have built our distinguished reputation by consistently providing outstanding service and creating fresh and modern culinary experiences for an extraordinary amount of weddings, private functions and large and small business events across Geelong, the Surf Coast, Golden Plains and the Bellarine regions.

About You

Your are meticulously organised, have strong time management skills, the ability to prioritise and have a keen eye for detail, whilst all the time thinking on your feet.

You are an outgoing individual who enjoys engaging with people on all levels and have the ability to build a rapport with staff, clients and key stakeholders.

Qualifications & experience

  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite experience. Some experience with event based and rostering software desirable.
  • Social media and/or marketing experience adventageous
  • Sales and customer service experience in an events or catering based workplace
  • Ability to work and problem solve under pressure
  • Previous experience with Xero advantageous
  • Experience in event planning (weddings, cocktails parties etc.)
  • Responsible Service of Alcohol & Food Handling Certificate required

Tasks & responsibilities

  • Lead day to day operations
  • General administration duties including answering customer enquiries and taking bookings
  • Promotion of the business through social media
  • Marketing and networking including maintaing current relationships whilst building new engagements with key stakeholders and corporate clients
  • Accurate and clear communication with the management and the kitchen team
  • Assistance with stock takes and management of stock and equipment
  • End to end catering and event planning including Bakehouse and events ensuring seemless client experience.
  • Lead the events team including rostering, training, compliance and event logistics
  • Finance management including invoicing and payments.
