ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Student Engagement Officer, you'll play a pivotal role in connecting with students, graduates, and key stakeholders to promote the Chartered Accountancy profession. You'll design and deliver engagement strategies, represent CA ANZ at events, and manage relationships that build the future member pipeline. This is a dynamic, people-focused role where you'll make a tangible difference in the careers of aspiring professionals.

Key responsibilities:

  • Educate and inspire students and graduates about the Chartered Accountancy pathway through virtual and face-to-face engagement.
  • Manage relationships with employers, graduates, educators, and students to attract future members to the CA Program.
  • Lead and support on-campus promotion of career marketing events and campaigns.
  • Represent CA ANZ at university career fairs, student society events, and industry seminars.
  • Manage a team of CA Student Representatives on campus.
  • Execute tactical campaigns and support the delivery of the CA Speaker Program.
  • Use digital tools and data to optimise engagement and reporting.

ABOUT YOU

  • Experience in graduate recruitment, early careers, or customer-facing roles.
  • Strong relationship-building, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Confident presenter with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
  • Organised, proactive, and solutions-focused, with a commitment to continuous learning.
  • Analytical mindset and digital literacy (Microsoft Office proficiency essential).
  • Resilient, adaptable, and thrives in a fast-paced, campaign-driven environment.
  • Relevant tertiary qualification highly regarded.
  • Experience in account management, campus recruitment, or knowledge of the education/accounting sector is desirable.
