We are currently seeking an experienced receptionist to join the team at Highgate Hill Doctors in a Full-time capacity as Senior Receptionist / 2IC to the Practice Manager.

The ideal candidate will be bright, caring, and possess a professional demeanour. There is also potential for this position to be negotiable on hours (to part-time - 4 days / week) depending on the candidate and what they are seeking.

Working alongside our dedicated reception team, you will provide valuable support to our 6 GPs and 2 nurses. Welcoming patients with a friendly smile, you will efficiently assist them in accessing the necessary care and services.

Key requirements for this role include availability Monday to Friday with the occasional Saturday. While a minimum of 2 years of experience in a General Practice clinic is preferred, we are open to considering applicants with relevant medical reception experience from different specialties / settings.

Familiarity with Best Practice Software or similar platforms would be advantageous. It is crucial that the successful candidate can adhere to practice policies and procedures, adapting to changes when necessary. Proficiency in Medicare item numbers and accurate processing of private medical billing is also required.

Excellent administration and communication skills, along with the ability to multitask in a busy environment, are essential qualities for this position.
