To meet our growing demands, we are looking for Principal Process Safety to join our team.

Reporting to the General Manager, Health, Safety & Environment, this position is responsible for leading the implementation of the Arrow Process Safety Framework.

You will provide specialist expertise in process safety across all areas of the business and play a key role in embedding risk management principles within the broader HSE function.

This is a Brisbane based position and will require occasional travel to our field operations as required, with plenty of notice.

In addition, you will:

• Demonstrate a personal commitment to consistently role model Arrow's values, code of conduct, safety and the environment.
• Establish positive and productive working relationships with key stakeholders.
• Model inclusive behaviours to create a safe environment where different views and perspectives are encouraged and valued.
• Implement Arrow Process Safety Framework. This includes identifying and documenting process safety hazards, developing strategies to manage risks to ALARP, defining HSE-critical competencies, collaborating to establish procedures for design and construction integrity, maintaining technical integrity of HSE-critical equipment, and working with Operations to develop procedures for safe operation of this equipment.
• Assess and classify and lead the investigation of process safety incidents.
• Build and maintain a process strategy improvement plan, to drive risk reduction, and improve the delivery of process safety risk management.
• Support, across HSE the delivery of risk assessment and risk management
• Support the Businesses with process safety technical support as Process Safety TA1.

About You

You will demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills along with the ability to contribute to a high performing-team with a second-to-none focus on safety and integrity.

To be considered for this role, you will ideally have:

• University degree [OR] First degree [OR] Other Professional Qualification
• 10 to 15 years' experience in positions with significant HSE management content.
• Specific experience in development and implementation of safety process standards and assessments.
• Specific experience in facilitating HSE risk workshops.
• Detailed knowledge of process safety aspects and management requirements.
• Oil and gas industry experience.
• Proven record of leading detailed and technical risk assessments and workshop facilitation.
