Join our Common Law team as a Senior Claims Advisor, managing a diverse portfolio of CTP claims from start to settlement. You'll contribute to fair and timely outcomes for injured claimants, while helping shape continuous improvement across the team.
What You'll Do
- Manage a portfolio of common law claims, assessing liability, gathering evidence, and negotiating settlements that support recovery and fairness
- Collaborate with solicitors, claimants, and medical professionals to ensure timely and accurate claim resolution
- Analyse medical, financial, and investigative reports to determine claim value and strategy
- Ensure compliance with legislative timeframes and guidelines while maintaining a customer-first approach
- Facilitate early access to rehabilitation services to support optimal recovery outcomes
- Represent Suncorp in settlement conferences and hearings, ensuring professional and empathetic engagement
What You'll Bring
- 2–3 years' experience in CTP claims management or relevant legal practice (plaintiff or defendant)
- Tertiary qualifications in Law, Allied Health, or Insurance are highly regarded
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills, with the ability to interpret complex data
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and negotiate effectively
- High attention to detail and a proactive approach to managing competing priorities
- Commitment to ethical practice and delivering outcomes that align with legislative and customer expectations
