Administration & Customer Service Officer - Seafood Distribution Afternoon Shift

About the RoleWe're seeking an Admin & Customer Service Officer to support daily production and order management at our Robina facility. This pivotal role acts as the link between our customers, production floor, and dispatch team — ensuring every order is prepared accurately, fulfilled completely, and delivered on time.
You'll handle everything from preparing work orders for our filleters to managing substitutions and stock accuracy. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, solving problems, and making sure customers get what they need, this role is for you.
Key Responsibilities- Order Coordination: Prepare daily work orders for filleters, including Bill of Materials (BOMs) and assemblies.
- Customer Service: Update and manage customer orders, substitutions, and out-of-stock communication.
- Stock Management: Monitor stock levels and locations, ensuring accuracy in the ERP/WMS system.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the production and picking teams to ensure all customer orders are 100% complete and packed correctly.
- Issue Resolution: Liaise with customers to resolve product or order issues quickly and professionally.
- Administration: Perform general admin duties, data entry, and support documentation for production and logistics.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and improve communication between departments.
- Experience in administration, stock control, or customer service within a food or manufacturing environment.
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (NetSuite experience highly regarded).
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of seafood products or food industry operations (highly regarded but not essential).
- A collaborative, can-do attitude and willingness to assist wherever needed to keep operations on track.
