The Operational Services Officer (Imprest) will undertake a range of tasks associated with the effective operation of the physical distribution of clinical consumables (Imprest) and other products across a range of locations and teams throughout GCHHS
The Role
An opportunity has become available for several Operational Services Officers (Imprest) to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.
You will
- Liaise and negotiate with Cost Centre Managers regarding establishment of Imprest levels and providing all reports
- Perform functions associated with the receipt, handling, storage, bar code scanning and delivery of clinical consumables
- Liaise and communicate with supply personnel and clients in relation to supply matters
- Maintain support to Imprest storage locations including ensuring bar code labels are kept up to date and removing empty boxes
About you
To be successful in this position you will require:
- Experience in the use of S/4HANA or similar operating systems
- Evidence of vaccination, or be able to be vaccinated against and remain vaccinated against - Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Hepatitis B
- Tuberculosis screening, to identify if the tuberculosis vaccination may be required
- Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed
- Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost)

Salary
- Permanent full time (three positions)
- Base salary ranging from $ $70 712 per annum

The Operational Services Officer (Imprest), works within the OSS Business Operations branch which incorporates the Safety and Quality, Training and Development, Audit and Compliance, Uniforms, Fire Safety, Patient and Staff Transport and lastly the Dock and Imprest service
