About the role

Join our team as a part-time Administration Assistant based in Robina, QLD. In this role, you will provide technical administrative support to our busy Building Certification company, contributing to the efficient and effective operations of the company. This is a job share position working in the office Thursday and Friday from 9am-5pm. Coverage of annual leave also required.

What you'll be doing

  • Handling a variety of administrative tasks, including invoicing and accounts, setting up quotes and projects
  • Supporting our team of Certifiers with project-based work and ad-hoc tasks as required. We provide Certification and Consultancy services in both QLD and NSW.
  • Council lodgements and submissions including archiving Building Approvals, Form 11s, Plumbing permit lodgements, VXOs and searches in QLD
  • Managing the certification process on the NSW Planning Portal
  • Providing reception duties, such as greeting visitors and managing incoming phone calls and emails
  • Assisting with the coordination of office supplies, equipment, and facilities

What we're looking for

  • Previous experience in an administrative role, preferably in a professional services environment. Experience in the building industry would be highly advantageous.
  • Strong organisational skills, the ability to multitask effectively and to work well in a job share role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused approach
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications. Xero experience would also be advantageous
  • A keen eye for detail and the ability to work accurately and efficiently
  • A proactive and flexible attitude, with a willingness to learn, adapt and show initiative
