Battery Power Centre and Power Crank Batteries are located in all states of Australia and currently have 18+ locations with many more in the pipeline  We offer many leading national brands such as Supercrank & Powercrank Batteries, Power AGM, Power Lithium, Victron and Projecta product suites to name a few.  Battery Power Centre Australasia offer a unique opportunity for you to express your interest to join BPC as a Sales Representative within our Darwin based team.

This is a permanent, full-time opportunity for an energetic Sales Representative to join our Northern Territory team The position will report to the Branch Manager and demonstrate your outstanding sales and customer service skills daily.  The role will suit someone who is happy to travel and meet existing clients and establish new customers in town and regionally with some overnight stays. Throughout your travels you will be handling and delivering all types of batteries and 12v associated products, providing reliable and effective customer service.  You will enjoy the freedom of building lasting relationships with customers and looking after your own territory's sales and growth.

The key responsibilities of the role, whilst not limited to, are as follows:

·       Directly selling and delivering company products to customers, as well as identifying new business opportunities and customers

·       Managing an existing set of clients

·       Processing of paperwork with an eye for detail

·       Effectively managing your van stock levels

·       Actively participate in the promotion of new products to the trade

·       Maintain a scheduled plan of service intervals for existing / new regional customers

·       Be willing to learn all aspects of our Battery Business

To be successful in this role, you must possess the following key competencies:

·       A clean drivers license

·       Service driven and the ability to work unsupervised

·       The ability to build strong relationships with customers

·       Previous sales and customer service experience though not essential

·       Attention to detail with paperwork and inventory control

·       The ability to lift heavy automotive batteries regularly

·       The ability to be an active member in the improvement of business process' across the sales and distribution network

·       Be consistent and reliable
