Melbourne, Victoria, Australia Taylor Wells Full time $100,000 - $150,000 per year

Position Highlights

  • Own a major commercial transformation with direct reporting to the Commercial Executive.
  • Competitive salary reflective of senior scope and delivery accountability.
  • Shape meaningful change in product, pricing, and system integration.
  • Lead a capable team and collaborate with experienced consultants and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Be part of a supportive, delivery-focused culture that values clarity, ownership, and results

We're looking for a strategic, structured thinker who brings a strong commercial lens and thrives in transformation environments where logic, ownership, and clarity are key. This is a newly created role designed to support a broader transformation across product data, pricing segmentation, and system integration.

Working closely with executive leadership and key stakeholders across Product, Marketing, IT, and Operations, you'll take ownership of the frameworks, logic, and governance that will define how we manage a large product portfolio in a scalable and commercially effective way.

You will also lead a small, capable team including a Pricing Analyst and a Product Manager (Product Admin), ensuring alignment between pricing logic, product data governance, and execution across systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the implementation of a new Product Information Management (PIM) platform, including configuration and adoption.
  • Develop and maintain a structured, attribute-led product hierarchy.
  • Implement a segmented pricing framework across platforms and product categories.
  • Drive SKU allocation from legacy groups into structured, governed product families.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure pricing and product logic is reflected across systems (ERP, CRM, PIM).
  • Manage a team of two: a Senior Pricing Analyst and a Product Manager.

Candidate Profile

This role requires someone who is process-driven, commercially aware, and experienced in high-SKU product environments. You will need to work with ambiguity, define logical structures, and ensure consistent execution across systems and teams.

Essential experience

  • Strong background in industries with technical, high-volume SKUs such as:

  • Hand, cutting and ancillary tools and equipment and tooling supply

  • Industrial fasteners
  • HVAC/plumbing components
  • Automotive aftermarket or similar
  • Experience designing product classification frameworks or pricing segmentation logic.
  • Familiarity with PIM, ERP, or CRM platforms.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and manage system-based projects.

Location

Based in Melbourne's northern suburbs, with access to major transport routes. Hybrid working considered.
