Due to strong growth and scale, Marmalade is expanding its payment services. In addition to enabling SMBs to get paid on demand, Marmalade will allow SMBs to earn rewards points when paying their suppliers and other expenses.
The Role
The Senior Product Manager will be responsible for evolving Marmalade's Points on Payments product from prototype to MVP, early market adoption and beyond. We seek a seasoned product manager to shape product vision & strategy, define medium-term roadmaps and own commercial outcomes. The Senior Product Manager will lead the 'Payments Squad' and report to the Chief Product Officer.

You will balance strategic leadership with cross-functional management and hands-on execution to ensure Points on Payments delights businesses and scales cohesively with
Marmalade's existing services.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Roadmap Development
- Translate GTM strategy and business goals into a one-year roadmap.
- Drive commercial outcomes by optimising the roadmap to target user needs.
- Influence product strategy with customer insights and product feedback.
Customer & Market Insights
- Partner with design to lead customer discovery and validation during the MVP stage.
- Deepen understanding of business payment needs and competitive landscape.
- Champion UX to deliver user value through simplicity and trust.
Cross-Functional Management
- Partner key functions to build foundations that deliver increasing user value as the product scales.
- Ensure distribution, risk and operational processes are aligned to the rollout timeline.
- Define, prioritise, and refine backlog for Payments Squad.
Commercial Ownership
- Define and monitor KPIs for product adoption, usage, and retention.
- Analyse performance and continuously optimise product post-launch.
- Identify opportunities for product differentiation and roadmap expansion.
Your background
- 5-8+ years of product management experience.
- Experience in payments, fintechs or financial services preferred.
- A growth mindset, with an appetite to influence and shape product vision.
You have proven success:
- Partnering with Design, Customer Success, Marketing and Sales to deepen understanding of target customers,
- Leading a product squad of engineers and designers,
- Defining and tracking success metrics,
- Identifying customer discovery gaps and then defining research requirements,
- Evolving an early-stage product, i.e. MVP -> launch -> adoption,
- Developing a product roadmap to deliver commercial outcomes and,
- Delivering commercial outcomes by systematically prioritising/de-prioritising features on a roadmap.
