Overview
We're looking for an Associate Nurse Unit Manager to join our Country Health Connect team in Naracoorte. This is an exciting opportunity to develop your skills while supporting the delivery of high-quality care and leading a dedicated team.
In this dynamic and rewarding role, you'll support the delivery of high-quality, person-centred nursing care within a community setting. The role requires both clinical and administration allocated days. You'll provide clinical leadership, support and mentoring to a nursing team, while assisting the Regional Manager Community Nursing in service coordination, rostering, performance management, and quality improvement initiatives.
Your advanced clinical knowledge, collaborative spirit, and proactive approach will help shape the delivery of care that is responsive, culturally safe, and focused on achieving positive outcomes - particularly for those experiencing disadvantage.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide advanced clinical care to clients and staff
- Support recruitment, rostering, and workforce planning
- Lead quality improvement and practice development initiatives
- Promote service continuity and client-centred care
What We're Looking For:
- Registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate.
- Authorised Immunisation Nurse and has completed the National Immunisation Program or working towards
- A knowledge of complex wound care
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills
- Commitment to culturally appropriate care, especially with Aboriginal communities
