About the Role:
The Associate Nurse Unit Manager – Clinical Facilitator uses advanced clinical knowledge and experience to provide support, guidance, and education that strengthen nursing and midwifery practice. This includes delivering training, developing learning experiences and materials, and fostering professional growth within the team. In this role, you will provide high-quality care across a variety of health service settings, consolidating your expertise through experience and/or further study. You will accept accountability for your own standards of practice, support delegated activities, and contribute to the development of less experienced staff. While remaining primarily clinical in focus, you will also take on portfolio responsibilities aligned with your career development and performance plan.
Looking for a change in scenery? – Nursing
About You:
- Registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate.
- Registered Nurse/Midwife with at least 3 years, full time equivalent, post registration experience.
- Demonstrated competence in the relevant area of nursing practice in accordance with the appropriate standards of practice.
- Experience in the leadership and direction of student nurses, enrolled nurses and less experienced registered nurses.
