Business Development Representative

Duties:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers by understanding their current and future needs, promoting relevant products, upselling where appropriate, and introducing improved or new solutions.
- Provide ongoing support to ensure products are used efficiently and cost-effectively.
- Prepare quotations and sales orders for both existing and prospective customers as needed.
- Collaborate with the materials planning team to monitor stock levels, assist in inventory forecasting, and determine future ordering requirements.
- Work with Management and Laboratory staff to research, evaluate, and recommend new products based on quality, suitability, and market potential.
- Proven experience in business development, with a strong ability to identify and capitalise on new opportunities
- Previous experience in chemical sales is highly desirable
- Demonstrated success in consistently meeting and exceeding sales targets
- A valid, current driver's license is essential
- Willingness and ability to travel regularly as required for the role
