This is an opportunity to make a true impact and drive the owned social strategy of one of the world's most iconic automotive brands. As Honda Australia's Social Media Specialist, this role will lead the strategy, execution, and performance of our automative organic social media channels. You'll play a key role in shaping our social media presence—this role will be developing differentiated content strategies for each platform, driving follower growth, and boosting engagement. You will also manage community interactions, copywriting across our social media channels and deliver insightful performance reports to both internal and external stakeholders.

You will be a key player in our digital and brand transformation, bringing exciting ideas to the table, building internal capabilities, and leading world class strategies.

Profile description:

How you'll make an impact

• Develop and manage content strategies and posting schedules
• Oversee content creation by working closely with social media agencies, internal teams, and creative partners
• Understand audience segments, manage community interactions, and ensure timely, brand-aligned responses across platforms
• Partner with data analyst to define key metrics, track performance, and deliver regular reports on ROI and engagement to stakeholders
• Work with marketing and digital teams to align social strategy with customer journeys, campaign goals, and market share growth opportunities
• Create and maintain content calendar that supports campaigns, ensures brand consistency, and reflects timely, relevant messaging
• Build strong relationships across the wider team to ensure alignment, share insights, and optimise campaign performance

What you'll bring to Honda

• Proven experience in social media, ideally 7+ years
• Tertiary qualifications in Marketing or Communications, or equivalent industry experience
• Proven experience in creative brief writing, project management and delivery
• Sound understanding of social media channels and advertising platforms
• Strong analytical, communication and organisational skills
• Demonstrated expertise in delivering engaging content underpinned by creativity and strong business acumen
• Experience in content creation via digital tools e.g. Adobe Photoshop will be highly regarded
