Your Role

As a Support Worker in Renmark and surrounding Riverland towns, you'll provide personalised care and support to older individuals, ensuring they feel safe, comfortable, and connected to their community. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing essential services such as personal care, domestic assistance, meal preparation, and medication support.
  • Helping clients stay active and engaged through social support and transport services.
  • Observing and reporting any changes in health or well-being to the coordinator.
  • Promoting independence and choice while ensuring a high standard of care.
  • Creating meaningful connections with clients and their families.

What We're Looking For

We're seeking kind-hearted, proactive individuals who are passionate about aged care and community services. To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • Certificate III in Individual Support or Community Services (essential)
  • A current First Aid Certificate & SA Driver's Licence (essential)
  • A reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance (essential)
  • DHS NDIS Worker Screening Check (essential)
  • Experience working with older people in a home care setting
  • Excellent communication skills and a strong focus on dignity and choice
  • The ability to work independently and within a team
