Job Title: Electrician – Solar & Battery Installation

Location: Multi-locations

Type: Full-time

Overview

We are seeking multiple qualified and licensed electricians to join our team. The role involves installing, commissioning, and maintaining solar and battery systems, as well as associated electrical infrastructure. The successful candidates will work in accordance with Australian electrical standards, Clean Energy Council (CEC) guidelines, and all relevant WHS regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install and configure residential solar and battery systems in compliance with AS/NZS 5033, AS/NZS 4777, AS/NZS 5139, and AS/NZS 3000
  • Conduct site assessments and ensure all installation work meets project specifications and client requirements
  • Perform testing, inspection, and certification of systems in line with Australian Standards and CEC requirements
  • Troubleshoot and rectify faults in solar and battery installations
  • Ensure all work complies with Work Health and Safety (WHS) laws and company safety policies
  • Maintain accurate project records, compliance documentation, and installation reports
  • Collaborate with other teams on integrated renewable energy projects
  • Provide clients with guidance on the safe use and maintenance of installed systems
  • Stay up to date with emerging solar and battery storage technologies.

Mandatory Qualifications & Requirements

Education & Licensing

  • Current and valid Electrical Licence
  • CEC-accredited installer (or willingness to obtain accreditation)
  • White Card and current CPR/LVR training

Experience

  • Minimum 3 years' post-qualification experience as a licensed electrician
  • Hands-on experience with solar PV and battery system installations
  • Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and solar installation plans
  • Experience working at heights with appropriate safety equipment
  • Skilled in fault-finding, commissioning, and testing

Other Requirements

  • Strong communication skills with clients and colleagues
  • Valid Australian driver's licence
  • Physically fit to lift, carry, and work in outdoor environments
  • Ability to manage time and complete projects timely and efficiently
