About the role

Split Solar Electrical Services is seeking a motivated and proactive Solar Electrical Apprentice to join our team in Sydney. As a 3rd or 4th year apprentice, you will have the opportunity to further develop your skills and expertise in the installation and maintenance of residential and commercial solar power systems. This is a full-time position based our Sydney .

What you'll be doing

  1. Assisting with the installation and testing of solar photovoltaic systems
  2. Performing maintenance and repairs on existing solar power systems
  3. Liaising with customers to understand their requirements and provide technical advice
  4. Completing all necessary documentation and paperwork associated with solar installations
  5. Adhering to all relevant safety protocols and industry regulations
  6. Working collaboratively with the wider team to ensure efficient and high-quality service delivery

What we're looking for

  1. Currently undertaking a 3rd or 4th year electrical apprenticeship
  2. Strong theoretical and practical knowledge of electrical systems, with a focus on solar power
  3. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  4. Good communication and customer service skills
  5. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  6. Commitment to safety and quality standards
