We structure our studio so that key senior members are across all projects, ensuring each project is prioritised company-wide, and our directors and key staff are integrally involved in all aspects of design and delivery.

The Role

Finding the right people for our studio is essential. We are seeking a talented and creative Senior Interior Designer to join our team on a contract or fixed-term basis. Working closely with the Design Leader and Design Director, you will be the lead team member responsible for implementing the design and creating functional, aesthetically pleasing interior spaces for a diverse range of clients across various industries. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with clients and team members.

Responsibilities

  • Develop design concepts and plans that meet the client's requirements and expectations
  • Propose creative design solutions for review with the Creative/Design Director and project team.
  • Lead the design development and delivery of projects across all project phases.
  • Create detailed drawings, 3D models, and renderings of interior spaces
  • Coordinate with FF&E, lighting and consultant teams to achieve design intent
  • Plan design process for each phase, ensuring deliverables are completed to programme.
  • Collaborate with remote documentation teams, clearly communicating design intent through models and mark-ups.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, new materials, and emerging technologies

About You

You are a highly skilled designer with a passion for luxury hospitality interiors and an exceptional eye for detail. You thrive in translating conceptual visions into meticulously crafted, buildable spaces. You excel in balancing creativity with technical precision, and you're confident managing complex design processes in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or related field
  • Proven experience as a Senior Interior Designer, with significant hospitality project work
  • MUST
    have advanced proficiency in design software AutoCAD and SketchUp with the ability to perform live updates to Sketchup models
  • 2D Photoshop rendering experience
  • Strong technical knowledge of interior detailing, materials, and construction processes
  • Proven ability to manage design phases from concept to delivery.
  • Exceptional communication and coordination skills with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Strong knowledge of design principles, color theory, and materials
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
