This opportunity is ideal for experienced litigators ready to step into leadership roles within a growing firm. Our client is seeking aSenior Associate or Special Counsel to join their litigation and insolvency team in Sydney.
In this role, you will:
- Work across high-value disputes including corporate, insolvency and regulatory litigation
- Advise clients including insolvency practitioners, directors and financial professionals
- Manage complex files end-to-end with autonomy and strategic input
- Provide written legal advice on commercial disputes, enforcement actions and restructures
- Mentor junior lawyers and support the development of a high-performing legal team
- Contribute to practice development and enjoy support in business growth initiatives
- Minimum 4 years PAE in commercial litigation, insolvency or financial disputes
- Ability to manage files independently with a proactive and commercial approach
- Outstanding drafting, advisory and analytical skills
- Strong ethical foundation and commitment to excellence
- Experience advising insolvency practitioners or boards is highly desirable
- A collaborative mindset with a passion for mentoring and leadership
- Ambition to grow into a senior leadership or partnership track role
