About the position:

Due to ongoing growth, our client is seeking a skilled Associate, Senior Associate, or Special Counsel to join their commercial litigation and insolvency team.
In this role, you will:
  • Lead and manage a range of litigation and insolvency matters from end to end
  • Advise clients including liquidators, trustees, company directors, and creditors on complex financial disputes
  • Draft high-quality legal advice, court documents, and strategy memos for clients across the corporate and advisory sectors
  • Appear in various jurisdictions including Federal and Supreme Courts
  • Mentor and supervise junior lawyers as part of your leadership path
  • Work closely with the firm's founder and Principal, a nationally recognised litigation and insolvency expert
  • Be actively involved in client relationship management and practice development
Key Requirements
  • Minimum 4 years' post-admission experience in commercial litigation or insolvency law
  • Strong legal research, advisory and analytical skills
  • Proven ability to manage files autonomously with sound judgement
  • Experience drafting pleadings, affidavits, and board-level legal advice
  • An ethical, proactive, and commercially minded approach
  • Desire to mentor junior staff and contribute to team leadership
  • A genuine interest in progressing to a more senior role or potential partnership
